Making When the atelier was ready, we began the
process of making glass: studying old glass
Glas formulae, weighing substances, mixing and
firing, checking the furnace’s temperature
and air supply, stirring the glass mass,
taking samples - and, finally, pouring the
liquid glass. We started with samples, but
the experimental and testing phase was
soon followed with the production of
larger (65 x 110 cm) glass panels. With iron
we attained glass panels of more sombre
