Since 2009, the institute for children and
young people with learning disabilities
in Burghalde, Unterlengenhardt, has had
five of our colour glass panels, as part of
their therapy program. Thomas Möhlmann,
curative educator, accompanies the
children through the colour light therapy
sessions. Experience shows that the
colour glass panels act on a range of
the children’s difficulties: cobalt-nickel-
manganese-blue intensively gives an
‘emotional mantle’ to sensitive children,
iron-blue structures and supports, copper-
blue relaxes and lightens, sulphur-red
warms and stimulates, and magenta-gold
strengthens and harmonizes.
